|Electric Actuators
In the case of an actuator with a small lead, it is difficult to move a slider with an external force.
1). Check the actuator has no lock fitted. Insert a flat blade screwdriver in the 'manual overide screw' on the actuator and turn the screw to move the slider manually.
2). If the actuator is fitted with a lock, connect a lock cable to the controller and apply 24VDC to the 'lock release/BK RLS' terminal If the lock is released with the actuator in a vertical position, the slider can drop by its own weight. Lock release must be perfomed only after safety is ensured.
The slide table can not be moved otherwise.
3). If a slider is moved manually with the controller connected, the controller wil be subjected to the motor's inductive voltage. It is recommended when moving the slide table manually, do not connect the actuator cable to CN2 (motor connector) on the controller.
