We started to test an LE∗ electrical actuator, but it doesn't function (strange movement) The driver is LECPA（pulse input type step motor driver）.

However the possible factors are as follows:
① Which pulse string input signal is used, differential input or open collector input? As open collector input accepts only a small current value, it is necessary to connect a current limiting resistor in line with the signal. Please check pulse generator/oscillator, if it is an open collector then fit a current limiting resistor inline. （Operation Manual⇒Pulse signal input circuit　・Parallel I/O connector wiring(Example).）
② If an open collector transistor is used then the connecting cable length is critical. Maximum cable length for the I/O cable that can be used is 1.5 m. （Operation Manual⇒How to Order.）
③ Is the same pulse string signal input method selected as the positioning unit (pulse oscillator)? ・・・・・In the case of LEC-W2（controller setting kit）, please check the parameter value for 'Option setting 1' found at the lower part of the basic parameter screen in the parameter window of the setting software （ACT　Controller）. In the case of LEC-T1（teaching box）, please check the parameter value by [parameter]⇒[Basic parameter]⇒[Option setting 1]　in the menu in normal mode. Please refer to Operation Manual 「Basic parameter→Option set 1」 for parameter values for pulse input method.
④ Check that the pulse train is clean (not noisy)
