Why does the carriage of the CY1S product operate completely to one end of the stroke, but at the other, stops before reaching the end?

If used incorrectly, it is possible for the piston inside the cylinder tube and the external slider to become magnetically de-coupled.
In this instance the slider and the piston are displaced which gives rise to the situation described.
The piston must be re-aligned with the slider.
