Sustainable Support of Factory Automation during
These Challenging Times

A message from Yoshiki Takada, SMC President

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of our shareholders for your exceptional support.
We extend our deepest sympathies to all those affected by novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), their families and all those concerned, and we pray for the souls of those who have passed away.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who are on the front line, fighting battles against the disease, such as medical professionals, business operators related to social infrastructure and distribution, and government personnel.
Currently, many of our SMC customers are engaged in the development and manufacture of essential medical equipment and medical products, or making efforts in taking actions for the recoveries of the economy and the day-to-day lives of people.
The entire SMC Group will tackle these hardships together with our customers and business partners by relentlessly working for a solid business continuity by paying meticulous attention to and fulfilling our mission of sustainable support of factory automation.
Fortunately, we have a global network of nearly 20,000 employees in over 80 countries, an extensive and diverse inventory of products, and a solid financial base.
We are making the best use of these assets to meet and exceed our customer expectations. In addition, we will continue to take measures to prevent the spread of the infection, placing the highest priority on ensuring the safety of our customers, business partners, employees and local communities.
We would like to ask our shareholders for your continued support and guidance.
