This guide summarizes the conditions for implementation and answers frequently asked questions about EC Directives as applied to SMC Pneumatic equipment. Please refer to this guide when exporting machines and components into Europe. Information contained herein may differ from the text due to modifications applied to EC Directives. In such cases priority must be given to the latest EC Directives and European Norms. Also, study the trends of the latest standards.
